We have a hard time believing that death will seek us out. We live a life as if we are in a dress rehearsal for the real show.

We go out of our way to invent a life where death does not exist.

But when death does come, we act surprised. We are shocked. We say things like “I can not believe that she is gone!” Of course! she is gone. And one day, sooner than you think, you will be gone as well. So what are you going to do about it? Will you do anything differently?

Death Is Coming And You Are Wasting (Precious) Time

Why are you waiting to live the life you deserve? Why are you putting it off until tomorrow, What you can EASILY do today? Do you not realize that time is the only thing of value that you own?

How much time do you have? If someone could tell you exactly how much time you had left, would you change anything? Would you still waste valuable moments throwing them away into the trash bin of discarded time? Or would you cherish every moment?

Death Is Coming And You Are Wasting Time

And more, why are you acting out and putting on a show for people who don’t care about you in the first place. Think about how much time you give to people who don’t give a darn about who you are and what you are about. You put on a mask that is trying to please people, and end up exhausted and depleted by your efforts.

Why not just be yourself around people who inspire you and celebrate your life?

At the end of your life, you will not say “I wish I had saved more money.” or “I wish I had bought more things.” or “If only I could have bought that larger TV.”

The one thing people wished they had more of is

TIME!

Time is the most priceless and ONLY valuable commodity you own. You can try and convince yourself otherwise, but you know what I say is true. You can not own things, or people, or anything else for that matter. The only thing you have is time. And it is an account, which is constantly depleting.

At the end of your life, you will have wished you had more time. More time to spend with your family. More time to have spent with your closest friends. More time to travel and see the world you have lived in. More time to enjoy the food, or the sensual touch of a lover. More time to take walks in nature and feel the presence of the divine surrounding you.

Live your best life advice

or

Enjoy your life

This is it. Today will be gone, and tomorrow may or may not come. Do something right now that you have been putting off for a long time. Do something that your soul is longing for! Do something because you are afraid of doing it. Do the very thing you are trying to talk yourself out of doing.

Recently I booked my dream voyage to Antartica with National Geographic Expeditions. This was the voyage I have been waiting to go on my whole life. In the moment the opportunity presented itself, I found myself coming up with reasons for NOT going! And in that moment, the moment I caught myself talking myself out of going on this journey, I stopped! I stopped myself, got my credit card out, and made the decision to go.

Learn to have a conversation with your heart. The heart is the home of the soul. The home of the self. If you are no accustomed to having conversations with your heart, it might be difficult at first. So many people’s hearts have stopped talking to them because they are never heard. But once your heart knows you are listening, it will start talking to you again. Your heart will reveal its inner most desires to you. Your heart will reveal your life purpose and the path you are meant to follow.

Yogi Aaron Listen to Your Heart

And don’t talk yourself out of listing to your heart.

So many times in the past when your heart has given you tremendous insight. And you have either shrugged it off or cast it aside. You said that you did not have enough time. You said you did not have enough resources.

We are always talking ourselves out of doing what our soul is longing to do. We are masters at talking ourselves out of living the lives our soul is longing to live.

Don’t think about it. Just do it!

Do it now.

Don’t go to sleep tonight until you have fully lived your life today!
